Trophy Wild Boar Stalking in Turkey

The hunter is accompanied by a dedicated guide with 4x4 support. Before and during the trip, the field team monitors feeding points and recent activity to decide which areas should be checked that night.

A normal night may involve checking four or five active baited areas. The guide and hunter approach on foot where required; the hunt does not use a fixed high-seat format. Plans change with wind, movement, access, and current field information.

The standard package uses a minimum tusk-length threshold of 19cm for each qualifying wild boar. This is a package category used for pricing; it is not the same as an official CIC trophy score.

CIC evaluation considers a defined set of measurements and assessment rules, not tusk length alone. A separate guide to Anatolian tusks and CIC scoring is planned so hunters can compare the two systems correctly.

The current trophy-stalking package is £6,000 per hunter for four hunting days and five nights. It includes five wild boar with tusks measuring 19cm or more, full-board accommodation, permits, transfers, a dedicated guide, and 4x4 support.

An additional qualifying 19cm+ wild boar is currently £1,100. Under the current package structure, if only four of the five included qualifying boar are taken, £1,100 is refunded for the untaken fifth boar. A wounded boar is currently charged at £500. The final trophy, missed-shot, wounded-game, and refund terms must be stated in the written booking agreement.

The local operation has thermal equipment, but not enough units to supply every hunter in a larger party. Limited support may be arranged when one or two hunters need equipment, provided this is agreed before the trip.

UK hunters should not assume they can simply pack thermal or night-vision equipment. Electronic image-enhancement equipment can be subject to separate export, airline, transit, and destination-country controls. Confirm the exact equipment plan and current legal requirements before travel.

Access to the wider hunting area is by vehicle, so extreme mountain fitness is not required for wild boar stalking. Hunters must still be able to walk safely at night over uneven forest and mountain ground and follow the guide quietly.

Anyone with restricted mobility should explain this before booking. The team can then assess whether the likely terrain and approach distances are suitable rather than making assumptions after arrival.

This format suits a hunter who wants a private, selective trip and places more value on mature trophy boar than on a driven group experience. It also suits one or two hunters who cannot assemble the 10-person minimum required for a driven hunt.

Hunters looking mainly for multiple daytime drives, a syndicate trip, and a shared group bag should choose the driven format instead.
