For British rifle shooters, Turkey offers a form of wild boar hunting that is difficult to experience regularly in the UK. The Taurus Mountains provide forest, ridges, valleys, tracks, and open mountain edges rather than a fenced or park-style setting.

Accommodation is normally provided in a 3- or 4-star hotel selected according to the hunting area. On driven hunts, breakfast and dinner are normally at the hotel, while lunch is served in the mountains, often as a barbecue-style field lunch.

On trophy-stalking trips, meals are normally arranged at the hotel and local restaurants. Vegetarian meals and suitable alternatives for food allergies can be prepared when the team is told in advance. Airport transfers, transport to the hunting ground, permits, guides, and field logistics are included in the advertised packages.
